What we build
Choosing the right platform
The honest answer is usually “fewer platforms than you think”. A responsive web app covers a surprising amount of what people ask a mobile app for, at a fraction of the cost and with no app store approval in the way.
A native mobile app earns its cost when you genuinely need the device: camera, GPS, offline working, push notifications, hardware scanners. We will tell you which side of that line you are on before you commit budget.
How we approach a build
- Map the real workflow. Including the exceptions and the workarounds people have invented, because that is where software usually breaks.
- Design around the frequent path. The thing users do fifty times a day should take one click, even if the rare task takes four.
- Ship something usable early. Real feedback from real use beats another round of specification.
- Harden and scale. Performance, security and reliability work once the shape is proven.
On speed and scale. Most applications never need the architecture their founders worry about on day one. We build so that scaling later is possible without a rewrite, rather than paying for scale you may never need.
After launch
Software is not finished when it ships. We stay on for monitoring, updates, security patching and the changes that surface once real users get their hands on it. If you would rather run it yourself, we hand over documentation and access properly.
